[Android] White Screen / Battery Optimization Settings

Adaptive Battery (Android 9.x and Higher)
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down to access apps screen then navigate: Settings->Battery and device care.
- Tap Battery.
- Tap More battery settings (may require scrolling down).
- Tap Adaptive battery to turn on or off .
Battery Optimization (Android 8.x and Higher)
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down to access apps screen then navigate: SettingsApps.
- Tap the Menu icon (upper-right) then tap Special access.
- Tap Optimize battery usage.
- Tap the Dropdown menu (at the top) then tap All.
- If preferred, tap the app switch(es) to turn on or off .
- Apps or services unable to be optimized appear grayed out.
Battery Optimization (Android 6.x - 7.x)
- From a Home screen, navigate: AppsSettingsBattery.
- Tap MORE (upper-right) then tap Optimize battery usage.If not available, navigate: Battery Usage (next to Estimated battery life) > or the Menu icon Optimize battery usage.
- Tap the Dropdown menu (at the top) then tap All apps.
- If preferred, tap the app switch(es) to turn on or off .Switch color may vary.Apps or services unable to be optimized appear grayed out.
Battery Optimization Features
- Doze Mode:
- starts when the device is stationary and not charging and the screen is off.
- prevents the device from syncing and accessing the network, Wi-Fi from scanning, etc.
- allows SMS, MMS, phone calls, alarms, and Amber Alerts to still function.
- stops when the device is moved, the screen turns on, or the alarm clock sounds/vibrates.
- isn't affected by notifications.
- App Standby:
- conserves battery power by preventing apps from accessing networks, syncing, etc. when not in use or not generating any user-visible notification.
- stops when the device becomes active or is plugged in.
